The East Side Mario Invitational swim meet was held this past weekend in Sudbury featuring teams from across Ontario. Seventeen North Bay Y Titans attended this long course meet.

A highlight of the meet was all the seniors attending made the finals and returned with personal best times in their events. Special mention goes out to Nicole Plumb, Angelina Racine, Daniell White, Max Giesler, Kelsey O’Connor, Max Sherry and Andrew Bell.

Dominique Bouchard continues to take charge with 7 gold and 1 silver. Bryanna Penno captured 2 gold, 2 silver and a bronze. Jennifer Leckie and Brittany Pask both achieved a silver and a bronze in their respective age group in the breaststroke. Jeremy Sallie achieved five top five rankings.

Leading the way for the juniors was Renee Gagnon with eight top ten finishes resulting in two third placings while Grace Liritzis continues to excel in the butterfly with two bronze. Kristen Lazarou and Aurora Buckley continue to improve with 85% personal best times in their events.

The Titans play host to their next meet May 23-25th at the North Bay YMCA.
