Dominique Bouchard of the North Bay Titans has been very busy this past week as she was selected to represent Team Ontario in North Carolina at the 2008 Charlotte Ultra Swim. Representing the ladies in the 200 meter backstroke Bouchard took an aggressive approach to the race which led her to win the B Finals with a top time of 2:16.87. Dom qualified for NCAA Division 1 one of the biggest university meets in the states. She also participated in the 400 meter medley with teammates Helen Pitchik, Paige Schultz and Michelle Williams and grabbed third placing.

Dominique hurried home to compete with North Bay Titans at the Jeno Tihanyi Memorial Long Course Championship where she was presented the top Female Award for North Eastern Ontario Region for 2008

Dom will continue to train for Summer Nationals that are being held in Winnepeg in July and the North American Challenge Cup in August which will be in Edmonton.
