The North Bay Titans headed to the Dr. Jeno Tihanyi Memorial Long Course Championship for what was to be the last swim meet of the season for many of the swimmers.

A highlight of the meet was the presentation of the Fred Rams NEOR Female Swimmer of the Year award to Dominique Bouchard. Bouchard capped the night off by grabbing 2 golds and a silver in the A Finals.

Jeremy Sallie won the High Points Trophy for his age group as well as 8th finish in the A Final in the 200 meter freestyle and bringing home gold and two silvers in the B Finals.

Jennifer Leckie nabbed the gold in her A final in the 200 meter breaststroke while Brittany Pask and Dylan Staples came on strong and captured two silvers each in the B Finals. Staples went on to place 7th in the A Final for the 100 meter breaststroke. Max Sherry brought home the silver in the 400 meter freestyle as well as two bronze finishes in the 100 meter butterfly and 200 meter individual medley of the B Finals. Nicole Plumb took 7th place in the A Final for the 200 meter butterfly and bronze in the B Final for the 200 individual medley while Angelina Racine place 8th in the 200 individual medley A Final and took a 4th and 5th positioning in the B Finals.

The Titans youngest senior swimmer, Anna Tryapichkin, had four top five finishes in the preliminaries as well as teammate Renee Gagnon. Special mention goes to Bryanna Penno who had three top five finishes and Shelby Twilt who ranked two top five finishes in the preliminaries while Meleah Seguin and Daneill White both claimed several positions in the top fifteen.

The juniors showed they were a force to be reckoned with as the entire junior team ranked in the top ten in every one of their events. Kristen Gough took home two first place finishes as well as a third. Max Giesler led the boys with two second place finishes and a third while Garrett Ryan and Andrew Bell both had a second place finish with Garrett also claiming a third. Our youngest junior, Braeden Staples, achieved 100% personal best times.
